BIOGRAPHY – DANNY LEHMANN

Danny Lehmann lives on the island of Oahu with his wife Linda. He has been involved with Youth With A Mission since 1980 and is the Director for YWAM Hawaii Islands. He is involved in training and sending out young missionaries to the Pacific Islands and Asia regions. 
                                               
While a surfer in California, he was confronted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the beach, and shortly thereafter was converted to Christ. After a few months of rehabilitation and growing in the faith at Shekinah House (an outreach of Calvary Chapel- Costa Mesa), he began to share his faith on the beaches and streets. He assisted in planting a church (Mission Christian Fellowship) and founded The Land, a Christian community emphasizing evangelism and discipleship.
 
In 1980 he joined Youth With A Mission and continued to lead outreach teams to the South Pacific and Asia. He was appointed Director of YWAM Honolulu in January 1983 and Director of YWAM Hawaiian Islands in 1988.
 
Danny Lehmann has written three books on evangelism  For the Gospel’s Sake , Bringin' Em Back Alive, and  Beautiful Feet one on spiritual discipline (Before You Hit The Wall), and STOKED! Firing Up Your Passion For God. He has also written various Gospel tracts.
 
He travels extensively teaching on evangelism, the disciplined life and missions in various training schools and churches and has been a teacher at Calvary Chapel Honolulu since 1983.
