WHAT IS YOUR LIFE A REFLECTION OF?

Hosea 1:2 2 “When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: “Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry by departing from the Lord.” While this may sound like a dicult ask for Hosea, the Lord is sending a message to His people. Many times in scripture, God would ask His prophets to paint a picture not only with their words but through their actions. Isaiah declared the bare facts about Judah’s sin by walking naked among them. Jeremiah showed the nation they were grounded by God when he buried a sash underground next to the Euphrates. Hosea was asked to marry a prostitute. Israel was called to be God’s wife yet the nation followed idols. They had broken their vow to God and were unfaithful. Here God wants Hosea to feel and reveal this message to His people. Hosea’s home was to be a reflection of the house of Israel. Question: What is your life a reflection of? Would you take the time this season and examine your walk with God? Be honest. Does your life reflect the presence of God? Let’s be intentional to make an appointment with God and keep it! I love you Church!
